I was working in the Hotel in the kitchens. I was making a cake and burned my hand. I have not really been trained for baking and after the accident didn’t really seem to know what to do and there was no first aid available. They didn’t even make a note in an accident book which I think they are supposed to do.
Luckily I had heard about Accident Claim Centre and contacted them. They took a lot of details down over the phone and then e-mailed me the outstanding bits of information they needed. They then sent me to the Solicitors who were also very simple and straight forwarded to deal with. “I was out with my two children going to the shops and pushing one of them in the buggy when I fell over this broken pavement. I actually broke my ankle and my baby went flying as well. Luckily there was a nice old lady driving by and she stopped to help me and when I went to hospital they told me I had fractured my ankle. Life is difficult enough with the two toddlers but walking around with your leg in plaster and excrutiating pain made things even worse.

“I was working on scaffolding on a building site and the scaffold was tied by metal scaffold bands. I got my clothing caught in one of these bands and when I tried to free it I cut my hand open. The problem was my boss did not provide me with any gloves the scaffold band was also faulty.
